La Quercia
Connect the product’s story with a clearer path to purchase.
My role: Brand framework · Shopify · Customer data · Growth

The challenge
La Quercia had a distinctive product story. The opportunity was to make that story easier to understand and connect it with a direct shopping experience and a more useful view of the customer.
Brand, customer data and commerce needed to work together. A strong product identity could do more when people had a clear way to find, choose and buy the products.
My role and the work
I refreshed the brand framework, brought customer data together and launched a new Shopify experience. The work connected the story of the product with the shopping journey.
The brand framework gave the business a clearer basis for what it said and how it presented the products. Customer data and the commerce experience gave that work a practical connection to growth.
The outcome
Direct-to-consumer revenue grew tenfold and organic traffic increased 63 percent during the engagement. These are results from the work with La Quercia, rather than current company-wide revenue figures.
That growth enabled the founders to exit through a sale to Charcuterie Artisans. The work linked the brand’s equity to a commercial system and a measurable business outcome.
Why it matters
The website, customer information and brand story were parts of the same growth problem. Addressing them together made the business easier to understand and the product easier to buy.
